Geoffrey FAIRHURST is mentioned in a letter written by his mother, Chloe SYMONDS to WH GRANT on 9 July 1918 as being “3 years of age this week”. The letter is addressed from Barronsfield Vicarage, Nelson, Lancashire (UK).

Geoffrey died tragically at the age of 14. He had been a Chorister at Kings College Cambridge, he was a gifted singer, clever, amusing, a great sportsman and very handsome. I have a photo of him in our dining room.
