Alice Eugénie FÖLSCH FELS was born August 12, 1854 at Rive-de-Gier (Loire)

Alice was the eldest child of Charles Henry FÖLSCH and Anne Justine JACKSON . Alice had two brothers, Edouard and Gustav, and a sister, Anna Mathilde. Gustave died at 11 years and Mathilde died in 1886.
Alice married at 19  to Adrien FRAISSINET. They have six daughters and a son but she died at age 45 on May 30, 1900. It appears that she died from a lung infection leaving behind young children (the last were 14, 9 and 5 years old) to be raised by the older sisters, especially Anna.

Alice died in May 1900 shortly after the death of her father who died in December 1899. Her mother, Anna JACKSON, having already lost a son of 12 (Gustave), and a daughter at the age of  27 (Mathilde), tragically lost her husband and eldest daughter within 6 months of each other.
