Henri-Jacques FÖLSCH VON FELS was the Father of François-Philippe FÖLSCH VON FELS and Husband of Anne Elizabeth BUTINI)
Jacques Henry meets a daughter of Jean Antoine Butini, Anne Elisabeth (1725-1813) and they marry in Vandoeuvres (Switzerland) in 1745 shortly before or after the establishment of a trading company with his stepfather named “Butini & Fölsch”.
He became consul in 1753 to replace his father-then consul-general in 1780.
From his marriage they have 9 children, 6 died in infancy.
Of the three survivors,
- Jeanne Louise in 1722 who married Jean-Christophe Hornborstel, merchant, another German who arrived in Marseille around 1753 and who returns to Hamburg in 1771.
- Francois Philip (1755-1832), merchant, becomes consul of Sweden in turn.
- Mariette, born in 1756.
