Mohamed Abdel Kerim GRANT (son of James Noel Abdel Kerim GRANT was born in Port Said, Egypt in 1886. He married Aziza Ahmed HAMZA in 1910. Aziza was born in Port Said in 1897.

He had dual citizenship of Algeria and France. He is said to have had two occupations. One occupation as a  writer and the other as “Guardian of the Suez Canal” (as stated on his passport).
